TAKO (Texas Area Killifish Organization) is an affiliate of the AKA (American Killifish Association).  TAKO meetings are held in member’s homes located around the Houston area.  In conjunction with the Dallas Killifish Assoc., TAKO holds an annual Killifish show and auction in July.  Our membership reaches across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.  New members are always welcome.  There is no membership fee for TAKO.  TAKO is financially supported through the annual auction and the TAKO Exchange (auction of fish and items at the meetings).
